Tournament Information

NCAA Certification has been APPROVED for the 11th Annual Marques Jackson Big State Flava Jam. In 2011, the event sold out with 96 teams, over 250 college coaches and several national scouting services. Having such a high number of the nation's top high school female basketball players to play in this event, the Big State has grown into one of the most competitive tournaments in the nation. The alumni list is remarkable.

Out of the ESPN Hoopgurlz top 40 teams, 11 participated in the 16-team Marques Jackson Division. Out of the 24 McDonald's All-American's selected in 2012, 11 participated in the 2011 Big State Flava Jam.

Team Limit is 120, this event will sell out very fast. Take advantage of the early-bird discount (See Team Registration)

Dates: July 5th-8th
Location: Carrollton, TX and Lewisville, TX
Courts: 10 courts total, two facilities
Games: 5 guaranteed

Early Bird Special: $450.00 per team if paid by 5/1; $150 non-refundable deposit at time of registration, $150 on 4/1 and $150 on 5/1.
$700.00 regular registration after 5/1 for all teams.

Divisions

17U (2013) - 64 team limit
16U (2014) - 32 team limit
15U (2015) - 16 team limit
14U (2016) - 12-16 team limit

1st & 2nd place teams in each pool advance to Gold Bracket on July 7th (2 games).
3rd & 4th place teams in each pool advance to Friendship Brackets on July 7th (2 games).

Semi Finals and Championships games for each Gold Bracket on July 8th.
Exhibition games for teams eliminated from Championship play on July 8th. Teams can make a request on July 7th.
